Oh, I know you're excited now :) Lets look at the beautiful colors that came inside this little beauty!

his collection definitely doesn't fall scary of gorgeous colors! Now lets show off the eye and arm swatches! These were done over NYX JEP in milk.

First Up we have "Dark Haunting" which is one of my favorite colors in this collection. They are all gorgeous, but this is my favorite :)
Store description: A shimmery indigo color shifting duo chrome that shifts from blue to purple depending on the lighting!
I feel that description is right on!

Next we have "Rest in Pieces" I believe I could rest easier wearing this shade on my eyeballs! IJS ;)
Store description: A shimmery burnt gold with shifts of simmered orange & tons of sparkle!
I love that it has a slight orange shift to it.

And last color, but not least is "Six Feet Under" I believe this was such a great shadow for my eye color! So this will look great with any eye color, but would really make green and blue eyes pop!
Store description: A a matte based burnt pumpkin orange with shimmering red, bronze & silver shifting highlights through out
So much sparkle with this baby!

Need a cure for zombie lips?? This caramel apple scented lip balm also comes complete with this set! BBB formulated a new Vegan lip balm for this collection. I have to say I love all her lip balms, but this one takes the "lips" so to speak. This smells and feels amazing on the lips!

How to depot lipsticks without melting them!

Well, hello again!
I decided to depot my beautiful lipsticks from multiple brands, since I need more consolidation in my makeup kit. It was a sad night to say the least, while chopping all of those beautiful buds off and digging the remainder out;( I did them this way without melting them, because some were shimmery and a lot of times when you melt them the shimmer settles on the bottom, and I find this way of "whipping" them gives a good apply able consistency!
Here's how I did it, and what you will need.
Of course your lipsticks you will be depotting.
I got the case, I will be putting the lipsticks in from Hobby Lobby for $7.99 on sale.
ear buds, pen or marker, spatula (to cut and scoop), something to cut them on, and alcohol (I used 91 proof).

First you want to sanitize everything you are using. I can not stress to you enough, sanitizing is key! Not to mention it's really gross if you don't.

here's where the metal spatula comes in handy. wind the tube all the way up, and cut the end off.

Then scoop the remainder out. ***however I am only doing the whole tube, because the containers I got are a bit to big and will fit the entire tube, maybe two****

Press the lipstick around, until it is pressed out with no clumps. I personally like mine a bit whipped!

Make sure you add labels to the bottoms, so you know what brand and color you have.

here are a few more colors I did.

My "pinkish" tower number 1!

Then I did  a tower of "nudish" colors.

And viola, then you will have easier access and more space :)

Thanks for letting me show you my late night non sense..lol
Please follow and share :)

Collection of Mattes! Beauty Bar Baby Minerals new matte eyeshadows

Well, hello there! Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything! I know shame on me (shakes finger at self).
Well today I bring to you the first matte eye shadow collection, that Beauty Bar Baby Minerals released a few months ago. I did eye swatches of all 10 of them. I only used their one shadow on my eye for these, too faced shadow insurance primer, and in some cases, if they were real light colored NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk.

Here are the beautiful colors I received.
and let me just start with how gorgeously pigmented these shadows are. I have used them multiple times on some of my photo shoots and they give great color turn out!
Note: Also the above photo was taken after, I used quite a bit of product from the jars.

Well lets begin with the swatches, shall we?!

This swatch is of Chocolate Malt, which believe it or not makes me want one!
store description: A matte light brown/nude shade
which as you can see is an accurate description.

This one is called cream & sugar
Store description: A matte vanilla cream shade
Again accurate description, this color is amazing for highlight. It's actually almost a dupe to the highlight color I use from my Too Faced Chocolate bar pallet.

Here is Dark Chocolate...I know delicious and gorgeous!
Store description: A matte dark brown shade

This color Tealquoise is such a magnificent color, I must say!
Store description: A matte green based turquoise shade

And wow, this color here! Red velvet is such an amazing matte red and matte reds are hard to come by!
Store description: A matte primary red shade

This is a great matte black called black velvet, however when I did the swatch there must have been a bit of sparkle dust on my table, so we will just chalk that part up to me blending...lol..But the black on  my lid is completely accurate.
Store description: A matte primary black shade

This one is called strawberry milk...yes and again I would like some flavored milk ;)
store description: A matte soft pale carnation pink shade
and this beauty right here called cin-a-buns is a go to midtone blending color, that I love so much!
store description: A matte cinnamon brown shade

And this color called milk chocolate is perfect for wearing alone (as shown) or a midton blending color as well.
store description: A matte medium brown neutral shade

and last but not least we have white chocolate.
store description: A matte primary white shade

All of these amazing mattes can be purchased from: the matte shadow section - click me
Any of these shadows can be bought for the low price of $3.00 each and come in 5 gram jars with sifters and seals.
I hope these swatches were helpful in deciding some new matte colors in your future makeup purchase endeavor :)

What Lovely Colors My friends - Package review from Dark Heart Designs Cosmetics

Hiya exceptionally special blog followers :)
I am here with you today to show off a package I just recently purchased from ( well 2 months ago just getting around to it though ;)) Dark Heart Designs . I have actually been a customer for over a year now, but also starting promoting for them last year as well, however that does not affect how I feel and giving my honest opinion.

Lets start with what I ordered shall we...

I think one of my favorite things that got me about this company to boot, was the makeup packaging. You can not see it here, but the full size jars come plastic sealed, red string attached with makeup ingredients. You also get a plantable thank you card. The name of the colors are on the bottom of each jar. The full size (pictured below) has the name and DHD on the sticker. These hold and mine always have from 1.75-2 grams of product stuffed inside :)
The sample size containers come in clamshells and have the name and ingredients on the bottom.

However I do believe now she packages your entire purchase and adds a "scroll" inside with the ingredients for full size containers, instead of tying little strings on each individual jar. Which to me is now a lot easier and less time consuming, untying all the little strings and pulling ingredients off :) But I did think that was adorable and drew me in..lol
The only thing I did not like was sifters inside, but they have now made the option to get them with or without, so my problem was solved.

And on with the swatches - It's my favorite part, so it must be yours..lol
NOTE: All swatches and photos have been taken with a flash by my window.

The first color I would like to share is Transparent
Store description: A medium to light natural brown shadow.
Inspired by Porcelain & The Tramps Transparent.

I would like to add that it also has a beautiful shimmer - it tends to give a gray looking hue as well, I guess depending on the lighting and photo.

Next one I will do is Carnival Queen
Store Description: A vibrant lemon yellow shadow with yellow sparkle. Inspired by my life in the carnival industry and the bright colors and beauty of the shows. I find this description very accurate.

This one is Absinthe
Store description: A bright cool-toned green shadow with a champagne sheen. Inspired by the liquor Absinthe, and the green fairy myth.
This color was a bit tricky to me to capture, this photo is with a flash, but without a flash it was quite a bit darker. I also like to use it with a foiling serum and it makes a gorgeous liner.

Okay and one of my favorite colors I'm going to show you is Shallow Grave
Store description: A medium brown shadow with red sparkle and red & green undertones.
This color sparkles like no other! for a brown/champagne color as I like to call it, it is stunning.

my next pick to show you is Wine red
Store description:
A burgundy wine colored shadow.
Inspired by the Hush Sound's Wine Red.

I find this to be between burgundy and rose colored with silver sparkle

This color is called Storybook
Store description: A pale rusty red with green sheen and aqua sparkle. Inspired by the popular new fairytale t.v. show, Once Upon A Time.

This color is called Pumpkin King
Store description: A dark orange/bronze shadow. Inspired by Tim Burton's Jack Skellington of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
I think the description matches, but more of a bronze then an orange with the flash on.

And last, but certainly not least I have here Strange Boy
Store description: A smokey forest green shadow with green sparkle and copper undertones.
I find this color to be more of an aqua color, than forest green, but none the less still gorgeous :)

Dark Heart Designs eyeshadows are smooth and blendable and I have a ton of them, but this was just a few I recently received, so I thought I would share :)
Almost everything that is sold is vegan and cruelty free, if there is a product that is not vegan, it is marked as so (which I think there is very few, like the reds).

I also as a consumer highly recommend this company.
They were having a bit of shipping delays during and from the holidays, but will be back on schedule very soon. Oh and if there is delays, the owner always contacts you to let you know, so I find that to be amazing customer service :)

Black Friday Makeup - Jesse's Girl Cosmetics Packaged arrived! Best Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

Hiya! Okay I'm back and I received my Jesse's Girl Goodies!  I originally was making an order for the waterproof liner, that I absolutely fell in love with after getting it in my Ipsy bag a couple of months ago! Well I found a few more items really affordable and that I wanted to try out :)

Here is my total order

First we will start with the Waterproof liquid eyeliner in black - I personally think this is one of the best liquid liners I have ever used, and believe me, I have used A LOT ;) The first one I ever got was a freebie, but I started using it and couldn't stop, it lasted me almost 2 months and for $6.99 , you really can't beat that, right? Here is their information on this product.
Our unique Japanese calligraphy-style brush allows for precise, super-fine application that lets you create lines as small as one millimeter thickness! Combined with a formula that dries super-quick (for a waterproof, smudge-proof application), our liquid eyeliner glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling.

.017oz/5ml
Here is my hand swatch of it:

Next I will move on to the Formula 13 Lip gloss in Pina Colada

I have to say this lip gloss smells nothing like Pina Colada..lol..I am assuming it's called that just for the color of it. I suppose they should have explained it in more detail on the web-site, instead of product description just saying "9 grams". Other than that this is a nice gloss, it's not to sticky and has a nice white sheer color with a sparkling overlay. It however does not have great staying power. I put it on and took a drink and it was almost completely removed, but then again I really didn't expect it to, because of it's thinning consistency. But it really is a nice color to go over a dark lipstick or liner. I got this on sale for $2.50

Okay on to the next 2 liquid glass lip gloss

The names of these two are called Genesis and Blanc. I have to say I was not too impressed with the quality of these two glosses. They really have no staying power and when wiped off it leaves a sticky type residue..I guess on the upside it leaves lots of sparkles behind ;) Also Genesis looked like more of a bright orange on the web-site and really it's kind of peach-y with a slight orange undertone. I only paid $1.50 a piece for these on sale, so I'm sure I can get my money's worth out of them ;)

Any last but certainly not least the item I could not wait to try! In the mood color changing lipstick in the color Crush...

Well ladies or gents save your money on this one, it's definitely not as excited as I wanted it to be! I guess I had to high of expectations, because I use to LOVE the mood color changing lipstick when I was younger...It completely stained my hand and arm and really only slightly changed...I guess I was expecting more color or a darker pigment..lol...Good thing I got it for a $1.00 on sale as well...Looks like this will just be a tester for me :)
This photo is when it was first applied.

This photo is 15 minutes later (in hopes it was changing more, but not much more of a shift)

Well lovelies this concludes my most recent review on Jesse's Girl Goodies from Black Friday, hope you enjoyed. Any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to ask :)
